Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature. This week includes a Stussy x Birkenstock collab, Dunhill’s Frieze podcast and Future’s collection for Lanvin Lab.

Future’s debut Lanvin Lab collection
Though they may not on the surface seem like kindred spirits, Future took a lot of inspiration from Jeanne Lanvin herself. “I created a vibe with this collection, something you can feel when you wear it,” Future says of the collection. “Jeanne Lanvin drew inspiration from her life and lifestyle. We are the same in that way, we create from experience.”

Louis Vuitton’s Christmas at Claridges
The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching and Mayfair’s Claridges hotel has unveiled its annual Christmas tree, this year designed in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Far from your traditional leafy number, the tree is formed of Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks adorned with travel stickers and luggage tags, opening up to reveal a series of chrome trunks and a homage to the house’s family home and atelier – Asnières.

Birkenstock x Stussy
Once again embarking on a creative journey, delving deep into Birkenstock’s rich archives to reimagine the classic Birkenstock one-strap Kyoto style in a brand new way. Their collaborative effort has given birth to the Solana, a slip-on silhouette that features Birkenstock’s signature moulded cork footbed and an oversized suede upper lined with shearling and a hook and loop fastener for perfect adjustability and a snug fit.

Boiler Room’s FW23 drop
Synonymous with London’s underground scene, Boiler Room’s latest collection It’s Better In the Dark, is an ode to alt-club culture style and the subversive world which exists in the dimly lit basements of a good old rave. True to its name, this season sees a darker side of Boiler Room emerge as supernatural symbolism, cartoon devils and satanic branding sit across graphic tees, workwear and signature sweats in a series of motocross and heavy metal-inspired apparel. Keep your eyes peeled for those devils when you’re on the Drumsheds dancefloor.

Per Götesson x Armand Basi
Swedish-born, London-based designer Per Götesson has collaborated with newly-revived heritage 80s Spanish brand Armand Basi. Observing Barcelona’s mannerisms and personality – the people, the architecture, the lifestyle – Götesson found connections to his own work: notions of geometric design, a forward-thinking innovation, and an inherent easefulness and chill.
