Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature.

The Gucci show that wasn’t
Demna’s second collection for Gucci messes with our memory. Presented as an imaginary runway show, the lookbook perhaps gives a taste of what we can expect when the designer actually presents his first runway show in February 2026. All black leather and sexy sheers, the collection was a deepdive into the Gucci archives, spun through Demna’s distinctive lens.

Chanel took the subway
“The New York subway belongs to all.” This was the essence of Matthieu Blazy’s debut Métiers d’art collection for Chanel. Traditionally, the Métiers d’art shows have served as an opportunity for the house to stage lavish, off-schedule presentations in unique locations, such as Dallas in 2013, Dakar in 2022, and Manchester in 2023. But for his second collection at Chanel, Blazy chose to match the hugeness of his debut and head straight to New York City. By transforming a classic New York subway into his runway, he presented a collection that felt like the city itself distilled into 81 looks.

Eytys reopened its Stockholm flagship as a gallery-store

Marking the brand’s return to its home city roots, the new store is designed as an artistic deepdive into the brand’s world. Taking its cues from the lifestyle and interests of founder Max Schiller, the space showcases the brand’s latest offerings alongside personally-curated artworks by Hermann Nitsch and Nobuyoshi Araki, vintage furniture, and an espresso bar and bookstore. The store marks a new chapter for the brand as it focuses exclusively on footwear, reimagining classic unisex styles of sneakers, boots, and loafers with a distinctly Scandinavian approach to craft.

Moncler hit the slopes
World Cup alpine ski racer Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, actor Vincent Cassel and supermodel Amber Valletta are the new faces of Moncler Grenoble’s FW25 collection. Starring in a campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti, each campaign star is kitted out in the brand’s newest offering of skiwear, building a contemporary après-ski wardrobe fit for the ski lodge and technical garments crafted for hitting the slopes.

Adam Jones teamed up with Umbro
Welsh icon Adam Jones has partnered with Umbro on a capsule collection that takes Umbro’s deadstock and reimagines it through Jones’ distinctive eye. Blending his fashion sensibility with his signature humour, the limited-edition pieces were directly inspired by the attire of Jones’ grandfather. In Jones’ world, a dress shirt and cardigan over grey joggers just makes sense, and he has brought that distinctive styling to this collection.

“These pieces are made up of garments from traditionally different environments,” Jones said of the collection. “Starched shirt collars sit opposite the pique cotton polos of the terraces, now clashing as they vie for attention. That was my goal when I started working with Umbro. We wanted to push boundaries while also having fun with it, and that sentiment permeates throughout the collection.”

The Umbro x Adam Jones collection is available in-store through GoodHood and online.

I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat
UGG and Palace are back for a very Looney collection, decorating classic silhouettes with Looney Tunes icons, Tweety and Sylvester. Sylvester slobbers across the back of a jacket, while Tweety gets the better of him (as usual) on signature footwear shapes.

12 Days of Margiela
Back in 2009, Maison Margiela released an advent calendar as part of Line 13, in a collection of ‘White Objects’ which transformed everyday essentials into design artefacts. Now, with Glenn Martens at the helm, the designer is revisiting that tradition for the modern-day consumer in the form of a digital advent calendar. 12 Days of Margiela delves into the brand’s archive, revealing twelve distinct universes within the Maison day by day, offering an insight into nearly four decades of design.

Ragnar Persson x O.P Jewellery
Famous for creating the creepy, culty murals in Ari Aster’s Midsommar, Swedish artist Ragnar Persson has collaborated with O.P Jewellery on a collection titled SKATA SKATA. Guided by the magpie and the Nordic myths and meanings the bird has inspired throughout history, the collection features illustrated bandanas and blankets alongside jewellery decorated with feather motifs.

mfpen reimagined the Schott NYC CWU Bomber

Inspired by hardcore, skateboarding, and graffiti culture, Copenhagen-based mfpen puts its own spin on the iconic CWU Bomber. Shot by Isak Berglund Mattsson-Mårn, the campaign stars Royal Danish Ballet dancers mid-rehearsal, their moments of focus and release mirroring mfpen founder Sigurd Bank’s creative process. The jacket, available in Navy and Black recycled nylon “flight satin,” keeps its signature boxy silhouette, dual-entry patch pockets, and shirt collar – now with mfpen details like a hook & bar collar fastening, exposed two-way zip, and suiting label above the cuff.
