Fashion Round-Up
Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature. This week includes Timberland x Samuel Ross’ second collection, Saint Laurent’s A-list FW23 campaign and Marni’s first time at PFW.
Kenzo’s FW23 campaign
Kenzo’s latest campaign celebrates the conversation at the heart of the Japanese house: the cross-cultural ties of East meeting West. Blending the aesthetics of Kyoto and Osaka, the campaign is a reflection of the vibrant, ever-evolving energy of the cities and the locals who embody it. Captured on location by Keizo Kitajima and video by Frank Lebon, brand ambassador Vernon from K-pop band Seventeen stars alongside designer Nigo himself on the streets of Japan.

Marni’s first time at PFW
Following a series of travelling runway shows that have seen Marni showcase in New York and Tokyo, the Italian house has announced their next fashion week offering will take place in Paris in a historical Palais on Rue de l’Université, which was once Karl Lagerfeld’s private residence. Speaking on the brand’s move, creative director Francesco Risso said: “Marni’s journey continues to a city well suited to flaneurs like us. A city where I forgot that I first fell in love and, in being lost, found how to seek. And to a venue; the home of a witness and devotee to the most ephemeral architecture of real illusion that is fashion. In the city which calls it home; le ville baroque: Paris.”
ERL x Levi’s
Eli Russell Linnetz’s debut show at Pitti Uomo last season introduced us to a futuristic Californian surfer. Now, the brand’s next move sees them team up with denim giant Levi’s. Combining a love of skate and surf culture from the perspective of a nascent brand and a house that has been integral to subcultural development for over a century has resulted in a collection paying homage to West Coast sensibilities and youthful creativity.
Here, 501s are reimagined in light-wash denim with splits up the sides, the hemlines of mini skirts rise precariously high and denim jackets are fashioned into sherpa-lined truckers and trenches. Throw it all together for your ultimate triple denim moment and ride the wave.

Taylor Russell for Loewe FW23
Announced as Loewe’s global brand ambassador at the end of last year after opening the Spanish house’s SS23 runway show in Paris, Taylor Russell continues to embody Loewe’s spirit in the FW23 campaign. Lensed by British photographer David Sims, Jonathan Anderson’s subtly surreal creations are artfully captured in all their off-kilter glory – including a make-up brush heel.
Saint Laurent’s star-studded campaign
Saint Laurent‘s FW23 campaign is a blockbuster. Conceived by Anthony Vaccarello and shot by Gray Sorrenti, the cast features Kate Moss, Zoë Kravitz, Mica Argañaraz, Steve Lacy, Dominic Fike and Hailey Bieber. The stars are photographed in this season’s collection against muted backdrops and modernist furniture.

Endless Joy’s gallery-worthy collection
An art project from the minds of Stevie and Alexandra Anderson, Endless Joy is reimagining paintings into garments. Revolving around themes of life, death, and rebirth, the collection features classical Palaeolithic cave art, Renaissance-style celestial drawings and Francisco Goya-inspired pieces exploring the Celtic origins of Halloween. Brought to life on eco-friendly silks crafted into shirts, blazers, trousers and jackets, the collection is a vibrant ode to world culture and a lesson in art history. Plus, for every garment sold three trees are planted, so you’re doing something good for the planet too.
