Fashion Round-Up
Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature. This week includes an MSGM book and some Fendi coffee.
Fendi opened a cafe in Selfridges
Head down to the newly-opened Fendi caffè inside Selfridges to start your day right, with a Fendi coffee (and a Fendi Negroni to end it). Not your average London caf, this one is kitted out like an Italian cafe/bar, in shades of pink and yellow (taking its cues from the house’s recent Holiday collection), everything is stamped with the FF monogram logo and finished with an mmmm of delight.

Helmut Lang collaborated with Saintwoods
Entitled See You Soon, this capsule was all about re-immersing ourselves within the world of travel (remember airports?). Featuring a series of illustrations, each representing key means of transportation (including a plane, sailboat and cab), this collection of t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants is the ideal clobber to get back on the open road. Accompanied by a campaign shot by David Brandon Geeting, the images star a line of talent in front of scenic (and for now, imagined) backdrops.
See You Soon is available in Helmut Lang stores and online.
MSGM announced a ten-year anniversary book
The brand’s main man, Massimo Giorgetti, is to make his first official monograph book dedicated to his label’s ten year anniversary. Published by Rizzoli and available from December, the tome will trace MSGM’s meteoric rise: founded in 2009 by Giogetti, the designer has carved an energetic niche, translating subcultural attitudes with progressive design inextricably tied to his native Italy.
According to the press release, the book also includes: “Massimo’s private life moments, his passions and inspirations intertwine with the main photographic narrative, with full-page, striking visuals from the brand’s most acclaimed shows, campaigns, set-ups and collaborations with the worlds of art and music.” Clear your coffee table, this one deserves pride of place.
MSGM10! will be available to purchase at MSGM stores in Milan and London and online.
