Fashion round-up
Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature.
Austin Butler’s Saint Laurent surrealism
Austin Butler fronts Anthony Vaccarello’s new FW26 Saint Laurent campaign, set inside a surreal domestic scene, with a pretty sweet convertible and a dining table and chairs sealed in bubble wrap. Shot by Talia Chetrit, the campaign sees Butler wearing Vaccarello’s latest collection for the house: in one image, tailored suit trousers are paired with a supple leather blazer; in another, he wears a glossy black patent trench over a shirt and tie, finished with sci-fi shades.
Martine Rose’s SS26 campaign
First unveiled at the designer’s intimate off-schedule show last year, the accompanying campaign for Martine Rose’s SS26 collection has just dropped. Shot by Camille Vivier, Martine’s eclectic cast spotlights the designer’s subverted study of shapewear and juxtaposing proportions, as undergarments are worn as daywear and shrunken leather jackets are pictured alongside oversized tailoring.

Cartier jewels in Aus
A new Cartier exhibition has opened at Australia’s National Gallery of Victoria, celebrating the heritage brand’s storied history and shimmering designs. Showcasing nearly 400 extraordinary jewels, gems, timepieces and jewellery objects alongside rare archival materials, the exhibition includes iconic Cartier pieces owned and worn by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Rihanna, and Grace Kelly. The exhibition space itself expands the sensory story – inspired by colour, light and materiality, it marks the first-ever exhibition design project from Studio Sabine Marcelis and CLOUD.
Miu Miu Tales in Shanghai
First launched in 2011, Miu Miu Tales is a short-film series created with the intention of building a creative platform for female directors to explore new narratives. This year, the brand headed to Shanghai to present Tales & Tellers, an exhibition sitting at the cross-section of fashion, cinema and contemporary art. A selection of 31 works was presented as filmic shorts or site-specific installations, alongside a performance project realised by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga.
Balenciaga’s ‘Unsized’ collection
Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring 27 collection for Balenciaga is a study in ‘the lightness of being.’ Inspired by the obsessions of Cristóbal Balenciaga and the fundamentals of clothing, silhouettes are lightly structured to analyse the architecture of some of the house’s most infamous shapes. Tactile fabrics form contrasting textures as featherweight techno taffeta or sumptuous double cashmere stand alongside various washes of denim and cocooning leather garments.
Loewe’s new ‘Tomato Leaves’ body collection
Loewe’s signature tomato fragrance is growing its repertoire, as the Home Scents arm of the Spanish house introduces a Body Scrub and Hand Cream. A fresh scent that evokes the lush aroma of tomato vines just before they burst into fruit, the products are built from a curated selection of exfoliants and oils to refine skin texture.
Calvin Klein reunites with Raphinha
With the World Cup in full swing and Brazil having played their first game, Calvin Klein continues its relationship with Brazilian football star Raphinha. Photographed by Daniel Sannwald, Raphinha wears the brand’s new Intense Power underwear styles – designed for maximum movement and performance.
AMI’s new Parisian home
In the centre of AMI’s hometown, the brand is opening the doors to a new Parisian outpost. Located at 4 Place des Victoires, the store’s interior is an insight into the personal taste of Alexandre Mattiussi, displaying a curated selection of vintage design pieces, paintings and sculptures from his favourite artists. Designed with an apartment-like feel across two floors, the boutique will open with a preview of the FW26 collection, bringing runway pieces to the shop floor in the city’s historic centre.
