Fashion round-up
Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature.
Stone Island go hardcore
Stone Island’s latest project, The Calm and the Chaos, dives headfirst into hardcore music culture, exploring the scene’s values of authenticity, independence, commitment and community. Photographed and directed by Isaac Lamb over six months touring with bands including High Vis, Angel Du$t, Knocked Loose and Haywire 617, the resulting photography and film captures the sweat and intensity of the pit alongside the quieter moments of life between shows.
Rather than styling its subjects, the project reflects Stone Island’s long-standing place within the scene, with musicians wearing their own mix of vintage and current pieces. The project culminates in a documentary-style tour book, due in September 2027, extending the brand’s ongoing dialogue with one of music’s most fervent communities.

Louis Vuitton suits
Pharrell Williams’ SS27 Formal Collection is rooted in “modern functionality for today’s business standard.” Blurring the boundaries between back-to-school staples, business tailoring and evening dressing, the collection pairs sharply cut suiting with subtle house signatures, reimagines tracksuits as elevated essentials, and softens classic tuxedo codes with a more relaxed sensibility. Technical fabrics and adaptable construction underscore a wardrobe designed for movement, while leather goods reference airport tarmac markings and refined footwear riffs on the traditions of classic European shoemaking.

IDEA Books x Reebok
Reebok’s latest collaboration places the Club C 85 sneaker in the very capable hands of cult London publisher IDEA. Reworking the classic silhouette, the collaboration pairs premium suede and canvas with custom branding and – get this – glow-in-the-dark details (!!). Accompanied by the campaign They Go In The Dark, the release taps into the two brands’ shared language of sports memorabilia, printed ephemera and timeless collectables.
“Reebok has always understood the relationship between sport, design and culture,” said David Owen, co-founder of IDEA. “The Club C 85 is an absolute classic – some designs never need replacing, rebooting or re-inventing. Because we approached this collaboration as an homage, we looked for the most perfect shoe and found it in the Club C. At IDEA, we’re drawn to the details that make something feel timeless, while finding subtle ways to make it relevant today. The glow-in-the-dark elements add a hidden element to the shoe, revealing itself in unexpected moments, much like the references and details we’re always exploring.”

Kaina for Converse
Converse has tapped Karina, leader of K-pop group aespa, as its newest global ambassador, introducing her through two of the brand’s most recognisable silhouettes: the Chuck 70 X and the Run Star Crush. The pairing reflects the intersection of performance, fashion and music culture that has long shaped Converse’s identity, fusing a heritage of self-expression with Karina’s own approach to style and individuality.
“Both on stage and off, I love breaking the mold and exploring my individuality through style, and Converse is a natural canvas for that,” Karina said. “I’m excited to join the Converse family and inspire others to celebrate their creativity and express themselves boldly.”
