All You Need To Know
Prada SS25
In the past, a chic pair of sunglasses was an easy way to bring an outfit together. Their whole function was to be totally innocuous, the secret and silent weapon in the menswear arsenal that never drew attention to themselves. However, SS25 saw eyewear become much bigger and much bolder. At Prada, sunglasses took the form of huge reflective visors in the style of ski goggles. Different scenes were printed onto the sunglasses’ reflective surface, such as a seaside or a concert, giving the uncanny effect that this is what the wearer is seeing.
Prada SS25
Sunglasses were an intrinsic aspect of many of the outfits in Junya Watanabe‘s SS25 collection, but instead of complementing them, they were mini outfits on their own. There were huge metal pairs with punky spikes around the edges and very 70s full moon pairs that dominated the face.
Dior SS25
Kim Jones at Dior had a lot of fun with huge floral frames that peeked out underneath woven bucket hats and Jonathan Anderson, well, we’re counting those golden feathers as eyewear.
