Still, Ermenegildo Zegna Couture SS15 fashion show film director’s cut

Backing up Ermenegildo Zegna Couture’s SS15 show in Milan is the release of the fashion show film directed by Johan Söderberg.

To a soundtrack by producer James Murphy, the short explores the show from prep to performance through a poetic lens. Söderberg worked closely with Stefani Pilati to realise a filmic interpretation of a collection poised at the intersection between architecture and space.

This concept translates in the collection via volume, silhouette and graphism in the presence of looser, techno tinged cuts and sporty stripes. In the film, lighting design by AJ Weissbard works to throw these elements into sharp relief. 

The film joins as part of what has been a momentous fortnight for the Ermenegildo Zegna Group: in addition to Milan, SS15 also witnessed the debut of the new Z Zegna at the 86th Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence.
