Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature. This week includes a Kenzo x Levi’s collab, Louis Vuitton skiing gear and Moncler x Adidas puffers.

Burberry Streets takes Seoul
Following on from the success of the Burberry Streets launch in London which saw Bond Street become Burberry Street and Norman’s interiors turned royal blue, the British house is taking its latest initiative to Seoul. Titled Seongsu Rose, the Seongsu district will be decorated with Burberry signatures, presenting a ‘Petal Maze’ installation inspired by the English rose while blooming sculptures will be dotted around the area to celebrate Daniel Lee’s FW23 collection. A taste of Britain will also be on offer as Norman’s Cafe goes global, taking up residency in an exclusive restaurant pop-up to offer smiley faces and scrambled eggs to Seoul’s shoppers.

Burberry Streets will run in Seoul until November 5th.

Bakar fronts JW Anderson’s latest campaign
Next up to join J-Dubs’ roster of impeccably cast campaign talent is North London musician Bakar. Aside from his musical credentials, JW’s newest face has been a fashion circuit and runway regular for a while, having walked Virgil’s debut Louis Vuitton show to last season’s ERL catwalk debut. Photographed by David Sims, a triptych of portraits captures Bakar in JW Anderson’s cosy FW23 knitwear and boy-girl bloomers.

Kenzo x Levi’s collab
In a continuation of Nigo’s exploration of East meets West, Kenzo has dropped a collaboration with everyone’s favourite denim maker, Levi’s. Merging the cultural heritages of Eastern dressmaking and Western workwear, the Parisian-Japanese house has used Levi’s all-American aesthetic to form a capsule collection of twenty garments crafted from premium Japanese denim. Canadian tuxedos are given a fringe-adorned twist, a reworked vision of the iconic Levi’s logo sits atop 501s and dark wash dungarees are covered with a trompe l’oeil Sashiko print.

Seán McGirr is the new creative director of McQueen
As Sarah Burton said her goodbyes at her final show in Paris for Alexander McQueen last week, a new Creative Director of the house has been announced. Seán McGirr, the previous head of ready-to-wear at JW Anderson, is to take over after Burton’s 13 years in the role.

Moncler x Adidas
Unveiled at London Fashion Week back in February, the Moncler x Adidas collaboration is officially here. Combining Moncler’s utilitarian innovations with Adidas’ city sportswear aesthetic, classic Campus sneakers are given a winter-ready makeover and supersized puffer jackets are adorned with an instantly recognisable three stripe upon the shoulder. The accompanying futuristic, robot-starring campaign is also pretty damn cool.
