Forget flash-in-the-pan who-are-theys, if you want to see real stars during Paris Fashion Week, Yohji Yamamoto’s recent shows have become the place to be – refer to Wim Wenders at last season’s show. This season, the designer’s SS25 menswear collection saw suiting become deconstructed, tailcoats had their buttons skewed or they simply just fell apart and hung from the body like shawls. Baggy suits were multi-layered and trousers had a Chaplin-esque cut. Elsewhere, jumpers and shirts appeared in the sheerest of wools whilst Japanese graffiti covered waistcoats, shorts and t-shirts. Oh, and did we mention Charlotte f—king Rampling!?
