It’s officially a Burberry summer! Following the release of the brand’s festival campaign and continued partnership with Highgrove Gardens, their next foray in summer activities is a partnership with The Newt in Somerset. A luxury estate in the South West of England, the pairing comes from Burberry’s deep-rooted fascination with the British outdoors. Weaving the brand’s signature check throughout the hotel, golf buggies, sun loungers and croquet lawns are adorned with the print for the whole of summer.
Honouring the house’s history with aviation, having spent the early 20th century kitting out aviators and hot-air balloonists, guests are invited to take a sky-high tour of the estate from a Burberry-branded hot-air balloon. Featuring several other curated installations inspired by the countryside, the badminton court will be kitted out with custom rackets and nets, while The Newt’s boutique will be stocked full of Burberry’s Summer collection to shop.
