Chopova Lowena harbour a design language which revels in the weird and wonderful, season after season delivering collections which take inspiration from a melting pot mood board featuring wartime weddings, folkloric traditions and skater boys. Ahead of the brand’s upcoming London Fashion Week show, Bulgarian-American and British design duo Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons have unveiled a perfectly kitsch collaboration with Climax Books.

Coinciding with the launch of Climax’s NYC Flagship, the London-based distributor is expanding their collection of rare ephemera and erotica, VHS tapes, books and anthologies across the pond. To mark the occasion, Chopova have built a wardrobe for the bookworm in us all, delivering a collection inspired by vintage love letters and pen-pals. Necklaces are adorned with vintage book charms, hoodies are printed with retro wedding napkins and t-shirts feature a neon girlie flashing her bum! One thing’s for sure, the Chopova girls certainly know their target audience.
