Since being founded in 2010 by life-long NYC resident and sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg, Kith have positioned themselves as collab kings within the streetwear scene. Their latest joint venture sees them partner with Balenciaga on a new range of running shoe sneakers that will be available exclusively at Kith for a limited time.

With only 650 preview models issued across three colourways of black, white/grey and burgundy, it doesn’t feel premature to ascribe these sneakers with collector’s item status already. Combining a number of different running shoe tropes into a single style, the result is an amalgamation of different ideas and aesthetics. While prioritising comfort at its core, the shoe experiments with a handmade vintage look with raw cuts and stitching and a pre-worn aesthetic that means they’re ready to go straight out the box.

For Kith, this is the latest in a spate of highly-coveted recent collaborations. Just this year, the store (which has locations in London, Tokyo and Paris in addition to the US) has released collections with the like of HBO, Nike, The Simpsons and the Christopher Wallace Estate, the charity set up in the name of rap icon Biggie Smalls.

The Balenciaga Runner x Kith xxclusive releases Friday, July 16th exclusively at all Kith shops, 11AM EST on Kith.com, as well as 11AM CET on EU.Kith.com.
