Tim Coppens’ SS17 show was a translation of his ‘90s upbringing. The Belgium designer reimagined his signature shapes together with intricate detailing and original fabrications that were reflective of the skate and club culture he grew up in.

Signature classic tailoring, bomber jackets and zip-up sweatshirts came accented by wraparound sunglasses, neoprene sneakers (available for both men and women) and aluminum coated nylon, creating tech fabric combinations that merged youth with experience. The detailing was fine and delicate with long judo belts and vertically aligned stitching referring to Japanese dress.

Here was a strong addition to the brand’s defined DNA: deft craftsmanship forged with modernity.
