Camper drop two new additions to their footwear line-up, underpinned by a bold unisex concept
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 3 February 2016

Having recently revealed their vibrant, Mallorca-inspired SS16 campaign, Camper have today dropped two new additions to their footwear line up, Marta and Mateo.

Inspired by Spanish espadrilles the pair embrace the colourful art aesthetic captured by the brand’s Creative Director Romain Kremer in their tableau vivant SS16 campaign and projected throughout the collection.

The Mateo for men combines a suede minimalist upper with a sporty rubber sole, resulting in a lightweight hybrid. Whilst it’s female counterpart, the Marta, holds a masculine silhouette featuring the same weightless outsole as the Mateo, but with added volume. Together they hold a complimentary unisex concept (one of three this season), paired with that Camper Spanish flair. Matching couples? We’re in to it.

Marta & Mateo can be found across the collection with colour choices ranging from black and white to Yves Klein blue and more refined greys with aquatic touches. Materials include matte leathers and soft suede.
