Burberry is officially turning 170. Founded in 1856 in Hampshire by a 21-year-old Thomas Burberry, the brand has become one of the biggest British houses in history. In celebration of over a century of design and craftsmanship, the brand is celebrating where it all began with an ode to its signature outerwear, photographing 170 individuals in ten of its most iconic silhouettes. “For 170 years, our outerwear has adapted to the weather and the way we dress. Each portrait is different, but together they capture individuality and self-expression,” says Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee.

Photographed by Jack Day, the campaign takes us to London, New York, Seoul and Shanghai, depicting how Burberry’s outerwear has transcended generations on a global scale. Street-cast locals from each city are joined by friends of the house, including the likes of Jamie Lloyd, Lila Moss, Lisa Love, Nico O’Reilly, OG Anunoby, Ruthie Rogers, Tan Yuanyuan, Xin Shuang and Yeonkoung Kim.
