Time and space

Prada Galleria is an immersive trip into the brand’s universe

Inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan’s storied 19th-century shopping arcade and the place where Prada began as a small leather goods store in 1913, the Italian house has returned home with something special. Prada Galleria opens its doors, a project spanning eight floors in the Italian capital and bringing together retail, hospitality, art, and history.

Overseen by Miuccia Prada, the space brings together more than a century of family and company history, exploring the metamorphic nature of the house and its enduring ability to remain culturally relevant. A permanent exhibition, Pradasphere, immortalises this idea with a retrospective of the brand’s journey, from its founding to today, through a curated selection of archival pieces and documentation of Prada’s presence across art, cinema, and culture.

Elsewhere, expanded Prada Donna and Uomo boutiques offer the brand’s latest collections, while the cherished Italian artisanal confectionery store Marchesi 1824 boasts a selection of sweet treats. The Osservatorio Fondazione Prada is joined by a selection of new floors dedicated to private hospitality.
