Alldayeveryday
In June, Michael Rider delivered one of the season’s standout shows at Tennis Club de Paris, reminding us just how good Celine is at dressing for the everyday. Since his appointment at the helm of the house in 2024, Rider has reinvented its codes, building an elevated wardrobe of key pieces to be cherished and reworn – “making do with a few great things.” While the balloon-style pants, structured shirting and trinket accessories were the pieces earmarked by those on the front row, Rider’s footwear offering did not go unnoticed.
In a first for the French house, Rider debuted a collaboration with Reebok, presenting the Celine/Reebok Freestyle Lo and Celine/Reebok Alldayeveryday Freestyle Lo. Reigniting an archival silhouette from the American athletic giant, the 1982 Reebok Freestyle Lo is given a distinctly Celine makeover: “A shoe that has moved through time, and still moves with us, with you,” reads the release. Arriving in eight striking hues, the accompanying campaign brings the sneakers to life with Rider’s SS27 collection.
