A New Crush
Gracie Abrams has already earned her stripes as a Chanel girl, attending her first show for the house back in 2022, and remaining a mainstay on the brand’s front row ever since as a house ambassador. Just a handful of days before the release of her new album Daughter From Hell, the Grammy-nominated musician has been named the face of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu; a new addition to the house’s fragrance repertoire and a continuation of the iconic Coco Mademoiselle scent first released in 2021. Developed by in-house perfumer Olivier Polge, Crush Absolu consists of an ambery composition, with the sensual undertones of vetiver and vanilla.

Known for developing their scents with a character in mind, Abrams is the perfect embodiment of the fragrance: “There is that liveliness in her, that unfussy refinement, which recalls Coco’s modernity. It is less a matter of silhouette than of attitude,” said the brand in a statement.
Speaking of her appointment as the face of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, Abrams said: “It’s unreal to be the new face of Coco Mademoiselle. I feel an immense sense of pride. I love that Coco is someone who leaves a mark everywhere she goes. Sometimes, I wish I could be more like her.”
