Looks good, sounds good
Caroline Polachek and Amyl & the Sniffers’ Amy Taylor are officially McQueen girls. The singers front the house’s newly released SS26 campaign alongside fellow singer Celeste, as well as models Alex Consani and Sora Choi. Shot in a moody landscape of a dusty earth, a blazing sun, with a single, desolate tree, the set was designed by Academy Award–winning set designer Shona Heath and photographed by Harley Weir.

“Behind, and in front of the camera, each woman has a power that feels inherently McQueen,” says creative director Seán McGirr. “They bring the house’s propulsive spirit to life – uninhibited, but incisive and in control.”
McQueen’s SS26 collection debuted back in October and was anchored in folk horror imagery, specifically Robin Hardy’s cult 1973 film The Wicker Man. The collection showcased neck corsets, drummer jackets, the mini-est of mini skirts and plenty of blood-red materials. Never had ritual sacrifice looked so good.
