Jonathan Anderson is no stranger to securing A-list campaign talent, with the likes of Luca Guadagnino, Charli xcx, Joe Alwyn and Ben Whishaw all taking a turn in front of the lens. Emmy award-winning actor John Malkovich is the latest to star in a campaign for Anderson’s namesake brand, best known for career-defining roles in Being John Malkovich, Dangerous Liaisons, and In the Line of Fire. 

The imagery is a celebration of ‘The Loafer Bag’, which was first introduced in JW Anderson’s SS25 show and has become a classic for the house, each intricate detail taking inspiration from the shoe itself, crafted in Italy using supple suede and leather. Malkovich is photographed by frequent JW Anderson collaborator Heikki Kassi, sporting the brand’s Resort SS26 collection, including house-printed knitwear, Japanese-crafted denim and bejewelled camouflage boots.
