Sarah Burton’s debut Givenchy campaign spotlights those behind the scenes

Back in March, Sarah Burton made her Givenchy debut in the house’s headquarters to a resounding seal of approval, delivering a collection inspired by a series of calico patterns found in Hubert de Givenchy’s original atelier from his 1952 debut collection. Now comes the release of FW25’s accompanying campaign, presented as a portrait of multi-generational womanhood.

“The beauty of all women inspires me – including my team. I wanted to capture the brilliant women I work with amongst the cast – real moments with everyone working together,” said Burton. Shot by Collier Schorr, the campaign stars the likes of supermodels Adut Akech, Vittoria Ceretti, Kaia Gerber and Liu Wen alongside Burton’s longtime creative collaborators, stylist Camilla Nickerson and make-up artist Lucia Pieroni. Schorr even steps in front of the lens for a self-portrait. Burton’s FW25 designs stand front and centre with Ceretti sporting the now iconic make-up dress, Gerber in the barely-there jewellery top, and Akech in one of the season’s standout mesh gowns.
