Vetiver Premaveria
Horace’s latest fragrance, Vetiver Primavera, smells like spring personified. Built from a core trio of lemon, yuzu, and mandarin, notes of tangy orange blossom and rustic vetiver underpin the fragrance’s top notes. The scent is the fourth to join the French grooming brand’s fragrance roster, following the release of &Horace and Oud Rose last year and this year’s sell-out L’étiquette, made in partnership with the publication of the same name.
Speaking on the new fragrance, Horace co-founder Marc Terlet tells us, “I imagined a fresh morning walk through a lemon orchard in Italy – barefoot, in a crisp white Oxford shirt and light-washed 501s. It’s about simplicity, sunshine, and elegance without effort.” When basking in the sun, smelling of a lemon orchard, Terlet wants his wearers to feel “fresh and uplifted” by the zesty scent of Vetiver Primavera.
Crafted in the world’s perfume capital of Grasse, each batch is meticulously measured and tested by hand with expert perfumers. “Collaborating with people who have such deep expertise and savoir-faire, and crafting handmade fragrances with exceptional ingredients in the heart of Grasse – it’s a rare privilege. Even better, we get to make that level of quality accessible to everyone,” said Tertlet.
Now the biggest men’s skincare label in France, thanks to its no-fuss approach to beauty, the brand’s latest release upholds Horace’s key ethos of creating high-quality products at an accessible price point. Summed up by Terlet as “vibrant, elegant and effortless,” the scent is sure to be a welcome addition to your spring scent rotation.
