Game, set, match
Fred Perry and Craig Green have joined forces once again, this time paying homage to Fred Perry’s origins. For those unfamiliar, Fred Perry isn’t just a random brand name, the man himself was one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He founded his namesake label in the early 1950s, with the now-iconic polo shirt as its debut piece.
This latest capsule collection reinterprets the classic polo through the lens of tennis itself, with three designs inspired by the sport’s playing surfaces. The shirts come in the red-brick hue of clay, the deep green of grass, and the stark white of chalk-dusted baselines. Finishing touches include double-tipped collars and sleeve hems in the striking fluorescent yellow-green of tennis balls and a combined emblem of both brands.
