Drew Starkey and some medieval knights, Ayo Edebiri and a rugby scrum, it could only be Loewe. For their SS25 pre-collection campaign, Loewe have brought together some unlikely pairings to explore dualities and human stereotypes.

In a series of classically lo-fi studio shots by Juergen Teller, Ambika Mod poses with the house’s Puzzle bag as two bodybuilders flex their muscles and Baby Reindeer‘s Richard Gadd looks straight into the camera just as an agriculturist shows off a giant marrow. In an amazing bit of casting, the legendary British painter Rose Wylie, who just turned 90, also appears pictured in the creative chaos of her studio.

The pairings may seem strange at first, but each background character references a specific human stereotype. The rugby players, the bodybuilders, the scuba diver, the knights, etc. The pairings are purposefully whimsical and so undeniably Loewe.
