The luxury womenswear label PORTS 1961 have appointed Francesco Bertolini as their new design director. Joining the brand in 2019 when it was under the creative direction of Karl Templer, Bertolini said in a statement that he is “deeply honoured to lead the design at PORTS 1961,” continuing on to say, “I am pleased to contribute my vision to the progression of the brand, which has always embraced and supported my talent. PORTS 1961’s dedication to innovation and modernity aligns with my fundamental values.”

Bertolini’s first collection as design director of PORTS 1961 will be the SS25 collection that will debut at Milan Fashion Week in September.
