Burberry kicks off this summer’s Euros 2024 with a football portrait series celebrating the house’s long-standing relationship with the beautiful game. Burberry’s front row is often frequented by the likes of Bukayo Saka, Son Heung-Min and Martin Ødegaard, and with the Euros just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better to kit out some of the Premier League’s most talented players in Burberry check. Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden and Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze are the first to feature in the brand’s campaign photographed by Jack Day, accompanied by a video series reminiscing on their respective memories of growing up playing football. Both are on the plane to Germany hoping to finally, finally bring football home.

Following Foden to a football pitch in his hometown of Stockport, the 24-year-old tells of memories spent watching Manchester City games as a young boy and his growing relationship with Burberry, “Fashion is important to me and I’m so excited to be a part of this moment with Burberry. It was amazing to be able to shoot in my hometown of Stockport and to work with this iconic British brand.” While this is Foden’s second time playing for England at the Euros, Eze is preparing to make his national team debut in a matter of days. Donning a full Nova check tracksuit on his local pitch, the Crystal Place player reflects on his personal journey to where he is today and the brand’s commitment to fostering community,  “I’m so proud to partner with such an iconic British brand in Burberry. They’ve supported myself and my foundation before, helping my community and inspiring the next generation with career experience and education, which we will continue to build. It’s a special moment for me and my family.”
