Copenhagen’s coolest cocktail company curate their ideal dinner party

When lockdown hit and Nik Neubar had to restrict visitors to the bar he owned in Barcelona, he started selling bottled cocktails over the counter instead of serving at the bar. And when he was forced to close the bar down entirely, he quickly realised a good ready-made cocktail was more needed than ever. Founded alongside his partner Dia Jovanovic, the pair brought the idea back to their home town of Copenhagen and created Aeris Cocktails which has been serving up pre-mixed cocktails in the chicest of packaging for the past three years. Bottled in glass cubes with minimalist branding and aesthetically pleasing typography, the brand’s beverages make a welcome addition to any home bar cart.

Believing that everybody should be able to enjoy a seriously good Negroni no matter where they are, while most pre-mixed cocktails don’t quite hit the spot, Aeris has cracked the code with pure, premium ingredients and high-quality liquor. Creating recipes inspired by the founders’ time spent exploring Barcelona’s bar scene, their menu offers a selection of seven cocktails: from a perky espresso martini to a smoky old-fashioned, and our personal favourite, a perfectly spiced Picante. We asked the Danish cocktail connoisseurs to curate an evening which perfectly accompanies their aperitifs, sharing a guide to their favourite Copenhagen eateries, Scandinavian designers and love of tiramisu.
