Following last week’s announcement that Saint Laurent will be the official sponsor of Juergen Teller’s upcoming exhibition, i need to live, at Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris, Teller has collaborated on a limited edition capsule collection with Anthony Vaccarello.

A prolific figure in 20th-century photography, Teller is best known for his minimalist aesthetic and innovative fashion campaigns, including many for Saint Laurent. Arriving in Paris next month, the retrospective exhibition will chart the German photographer’s personal and commissioned works alongside a new photographic series, videos, installations and printed media, shining a light on the cultural context in which Teller documents the world around him.

As for Teller’s collaboration with Vaccarello, the pair have teamed up for a collection of tees, homeware, accessories and vinyl records illustrated with iconic photographs from Teller’s archive – available in Saint Laurent’s Paris and Los Angeles Rive Droite stores. Speaking on the partnership, Vaccarello said: “Juergen Teller is a tremendous photographer whose intelligence, humour, and respect make his work a veritable introspective game, where flashbacks are both tributes and allusions to the founding myths of the Maison Yves Saint Laurent. Our collaborative work for Saint Laurent is all about the search for origins as a creative driving force.”

i need to live by Juergen Teller will run at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris from December 16th to January 9th 2024, more info here
