Spend to support
Women-led gallery space Have A Butchers in Dalston is hosting a charity print sale in association with production studio HEMPSTEADMAY to raise funds to protect the children of Gaza. As the conflict in Palestine continues without a humanitarian ceasefire on the near horizon, it is the innocent children who are suffering the most. In an attempt to raise urgent resources, all proceeds will be donated to support organisations working on the ground providing aid to the children whose lives have been irrevocably affected by the conflict.
The sale offers a selection of prints from over 100 photographers, ranging from the likes of Emma Summerton and Alastair Thain to Jack Davison and Michal Pudelka. Priding themselves on an ethos of inclusivity and accessibility, the gallery has priced each print at £50 to give as many people as possible an opportunity to support the cause.
Speaking on the sale, Have A Butcher’s creative director said: “Together our small team is trying to reach as many people as possible with this print sale with the collective aim of raising funds to protect children of Gaza. No child deserves to suffer and the current crisis is heartbreaking.”
The Print Sale runs until 30th November, more info here.
