Celebrate and recreate
First created in 1873, Levi’s iconic 501 fit is turning 150 this year and the US brand are celebrating big. Having already hosted various celebrations, next on Levi’s agenda is a collaboration with Marcelo Burlon County of Milan. Both known for honouring the heritage of their respective home countries, the pairing combines Marcelo Burlon’s contemporary Italian aesthetic with the subcultural codes of Levi’s Americana classics.

Here, denim reigns supreme. Oversized Levi’s trucker jackets and straight-leg vintage 551Z jeans are highlighted and celebrated, laser treated to recreate a vivid all-over tonal patchwork motif – a signature throughout Marcelo Burlon County of Milan collections. Manufactured by Kaihara Mills in Japan, the collaborative collection focuses on upcycling and sustainability, meaning the one-of-a-kind pieces are available in limited quantities.
The collaboration will be available in the Milanese flagship of County of Milan and online at levi.com from June 22nd.
