The next instalment of Stone Island’s SS23 collection has arrived, prioritising fusing a sleek silhouette with a streetwear aesthetic. Titled Stellina, this season’s pieces are crafted from the Italian brand’s ever-evolving bio-based nylon, all complete with subtle star embroidery as opposed to the instantly recognisable Stone Island badge on the left sleeve.

Outerwear boasts a 3-layer performance fabric complete with laminated breathable inner layers while knitwear is crafted from thinly ribbed wool and shirts are fashioned from Panama-weaved stretch cotton. Hues of purple, black and grey make for a refined yet wearable colour palette as the brand continue to refashion its staples in an increasingly sustainable manner. Technicalities aside, Stellina offers up a continuation of Stone Island’s progressive identity as a house at the fore of advancement, both in textiles and silhouettes.
