Balenciaga have tapped into the musical tastes of drag-queen icon RuPaul for a specially curated playlist being released today alongside a limited-edition unisex capsule collection.

This is the latest collaboration in Balenciaga’s ongoing series of guest playlists in which creatives from across the sector are invited to share the sounds that inspire them. The debut episode saw Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia get things underway with his Hello My Name is Demna playlist, which you can listen to here on Apple Music (headphone users beware). Featuring plenty of Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Sade and Radiohead, alongside  many others, the 172-song selection is a comprehensive insight into what gets the man going.

Launching simultaneously is a limited-edition Balenciaga x RuPaul collection that will appear in stores and online from today. Comprising a range of accessories and wardrobe staples, the capsule is modeled by RuPaul together with legend of Copacobana’s club scene, Susanne Bartsch. The pair feature in a series of photographs surrounded by friends and family of Balenciaga.
