Hedi Slimane expands his Celine Portrait of an Artist series by capturing French actor and director Suzanne Lindon. Photographed by the designer in Monaco in September 2020, the images see Lindon wearing the Celine Women Summer 21 Part 1 (Spring / Resort 21) collection.

The daughter of Cannes Palme d’Or winning actor Vincent Lindon and actress Sandrine Kiberlain, Suzanne is carving her own career as one of France’s most exciting young talents. At just twenty years old, this year she became the youngest filmmaker to make it into Cannes’s special 2020 Official Selection this year with her debut feature Spring Blossom, a captivating coming-of-age tale about a Parisian teenager who enters into a platonic love affair with an actor in his 30s.

Shot in Monaco, the location is just a short drive from Celine’s SS20 St Tropez-based campaign – it seems that Hedi Slimane is taking full advantage of France’s stunning south coast.
