Since taking the helm at Calvin Klein, Raf Simons has deconstructed and reinterpreted the iconic US label in tune with his own subversive aesthetic. Along the way, the designer has shifted the brand’s #MyCalvins campaign to represent family via a broad definition; “a display of unity between strong individuals.”
Where the campaign has previously been fronted by a Solange-curated musician community, and later hip hop collective A$AP Mob, the latest chapter in the campaign sees Raf take the word “family” more literally, tapping model siblings Kaia Gerber and Presley Gerber for new imagery shot by Willy Vanderperre.
Wearing core styles of Calvin Klein Jeans, the brother-sister-duo are seen in the same barn location as the previous campaign images, lounging on a quilted blanket from the brand’s SS18 collection– evoking a traditional American quilt.
