Earlier this year, Jonathan Anderson launched an open call for young photographers to submit their work, with the winners going on to shoot the designer’s FW18 campaign.

The resulting 1800 submissions were whittled down by a panel led by Anderson and a jury of fashion industry figures to a mere 50 finalists whose work was then showcased as part of an exhibition titled Your picture/Our future. Now, those shortlisted works have been translated into a new hardback coffee table book.

The new publication will include the work of all fifty, spanning portraiture, still life and little rodents, including of course, the three eventual winners: Julie Greve from the UK, Yelena Beletskaya from Russia, and Simons Finnerty from the USA.

The book is available for purchase as of now, either online or from the JW Anderson Workshop. We’re seeing it as a shrewd future investment; there’s a good chance (at least) one of these photographers will become a household name in years to come, meaning this book will receive instant coveted status as a rare early work. Regardless of that, it’s a book of beautiful book of photography that will give you pleasure for years to come.

Order the book online here.
