Modern nomad
The Isabel Marant man is on the move. This season, he drifts from windswept plains to sleepy towns, skimming across Ibiza’s shoreline. This season, as usual, the collection was presented in person at the brand’s Paris showroom, and also as a lookbook starring models Ned Sims and Tidiane Sy.
Evoking a spirit of nomadic bliss, the collection reflects a wardrobe collected from place to place, shaped by travel and time. Sun-faded tones – khaki, bronze, pale yellow, soft pink – blend with Western flourishes that show up in floral embroidery and utilitarian shirt pockets, while denim gets a free-spirited remix: laser-striped, wildflower-printed, and worn-in like salt-stained surf gear. Silhouettes narrow but stay easy, as tailored workwear and breezy knits walk the line between structure and softness. Elsewhere, pleated trousers and subtle stripes give preppy polish, offset by fleece layers grounded in streetwear ease. Footwear speaks of versatility – fringed moccasins and sleek sneakers are ideal for both dust trails and city concrete – meanwhile, satin bombers, postcard tees and sunset hues become momentos of a life well-travelled.
