Things got super hot and steamy at Sinéad O’Dwyer’s SS25 presentation. Three pairs of models, the majority of whom were sex workers from around the UK, got incredibly cosy in the show space, while a video installation starring Mahalia and Alva Claire played on. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen O’Dwyer’s SS25 collection, she premiered it with a runway show at Copenhagen Fashion Week about a month ago. But this was our opportunity to finally see it up close.

The collection was titled Everything Opens To Touch and it really was an advancement in O’Dwyer’s aesthetic. Most notable was her use of denim, which she used in several pieces, creating dresses with sculpted breastplates and pleated skirts. We also saw her signature shibari-style garments out in force, which are so deeply erotic that you almost blush when you see them. As the models got their rocks off in the show space, there was a sense that O’Dwyer is really redefining sexiness here. Let’s hope she continues with this style of presentation, it was an incredibly exciting moment on the London schedule.
