Movement + growth

Saul Nash wants you to evolve with him

This season, Saul Nash took the performance wear and sportswear silhouettes for which he is best known and transformed them into a wardrobe of archetypal menswear pieces. Taking a comprehensive look at his namesake brand, which was founded in 2018, Nash wants his wearer to evolve alongside him.

Examining the movements of everyday life saw the designer reimagine staples and imbue them with his signature design tropes, which saw lightweight Kaihara denim transformed into workwear pieces and the classic white shit was designed with the yoke extending to the cuff in a saddle cut. In keeping with the designer’s sportswear aesthetic, running jackets were built from recycled nylon, breathable mesh vests and grey souvenir hoodies embossed with ‘SAUL’ logos and baseball jerseys were branded with the number 18 in a nod to the label’s founding year. Speaking on the evolution of this season’s collection, Nash said: “The brand is my life, and when I started in 2018, I only wore sportswear. Now I’m changing and evolving as a person, I wanted to look at menswear archetypes, and how I could bring movement into them. This is a collection where all the focus is on refining and perfecting new cutting for what we wear.”
