Lightness of being

“Inspired by the desire for light and of lightness,” creative director Yusuke Takahashi, was thinking about ease of wear, from sharp wardrobe staples to more out-there workwear-influence pieces such as one grey boilersuit.

Loose-fitting trousers were crafted from fabric with a linear tie-dye pattern which also appeared on a matching jacket. Abstract patterns which appeared like corporeal blood-shot tissue were printed on bomber jackets, shorts and shirts. Further shirts were emblazoned with a bright orange print reminiscent of a backgammon board. Patterns prevailed, their indiscernible familiarity verging on the uncanny.
