Engineered Elegance

High-speed Gran Turismo style at Canali

Monza, the legendary Gran Turismo racing circuit nestled in Canali’s own Brianza region, served as the house’s inspiration this season, fuelling a collection that translated high-octane heritage into something altogether softer, subtler, and more sensual.

The results? Racewear, but with a more refined hand. Suede trench coats and blousons were designed with the ease of a silk shirt, while tailoring was featherlight and fluid – perfect for getting behind the wheel, or being driven. Utility came filtered through tailored elegance: boiler jackets and matching trousers nodded to the mechanic’s uniform, yet elevated and reimagined in fine wool or Canali’s water and crease resistant fabric Impeccabile. Elsewhere, braided leather trims were borrowed from vintage steering wheels, and the crochet of old-school driving gloves was spun into luxury knitwear. Like the iconic Gran Turismo cars of the 60s and 70s, this season was a reminder that Italian elegance doesn’t need to scream – it smoothly overtakes.
