For SS17, Andreas Melbostad transformed the Diesel rock and roll girl into something a little more feminine. Leather jackets, studs and ripped up jeans were replaced with lace, frills and short baby-doll dresses. Elsewhere, Melbostad re-imagined Diesel’s military wear staples. The creative director combined dusty pink oversized surplus jackets, parkas and combat boots with bustiers and ruffled miniskirts for an extra splash of spring femininity.
