Ice queen

Chet Lo’s prickly deities are back and ready for a FW22 slope-rave.

Acidic gradients, jagged edges and sensual low cuts. At his second Fashion East show, Chet Lo’s girls were readying themself for an arctic cyber rave in his distinctive knitted two pieces and corresponding ear warmers, spiked within an inch of their lives like a Me Company visual from the late 90s. New textures came by way of jumbo silk scarves that trailed below the knee, and fluffy moon boots tinged with icy blues or bubble gum pinks provided a uniform for a pastel loving princess.

Elsewhere, lavender turtlenecks fused slender knits with satin puffer skirts while spiked bodices turned asymmetric, jutting to the side with a sprinkling of radioactive green in dashing ostrich feathers. One furry holdall explored these new textures further by skinning an arctic monster, giving the model enough space to store a dead body, or her skis, in the resulting cross-body.
