If there’s one thing father-son duo Charlie and Joe Casely-Hayford know how to do it’s work a collection around a theme.

A year ago it was FW13 ice hockey cliques. SS14 took a set of skateboard decks to the platform. This season it was all about modern British sportswear.

You couldn’t miss the classic Casely-Hayford football stripes, but there was also a refined feel to a collection grounded in minimal tailoring. A wood motif ran across slim-line jackets, thin-collared shirts and trousers worn with variations on classic vests.

The looser silhouette was still very much present, in the form of flannel tied around the waists of drop-crotch trousers.
