Raf Simon’s new vision for Calvin Klein is taking shape; the designer’s art-inspired interpretation of the label has seen collaborations with Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre and world renowned graphic designer Peter Saville, his SS17 campaign featured artworks by Dan Flavin, Richard Prince and Andy Warhol and for his debut runway show he teamed up with Sterling Ruby to create the set.

Now, the American label has teamed up with one of the most exciting multi-faceted talents out there, Julian Klincewicz. Hailing from sunny San Diego, Julian is a skater, designer, photographer and filmmaker; he’s worked with everyone from Gosha Rubchinskiy to Kanye West and we’ve tracked his work as he’s travelled the globe working on personal projects.

The young creative has now lent his hand to Raf Simons and shot a dreamy three part video series for Calvin Klein. Posted on the brand’s Instagram, the clips are raw yet simultaneously cinematic; almost like a stop-frame animation, thousands of images blur into one another set against goose-pimple-inducing-soundtracks. Starring CK’s new campaign faces, the first video sees Lulu, the young model who opened the FW17 show, wondering around a park in Brooklyn, New York. Julian then follows the handsome Fernando to Spain, documenting the Mediterranean shorelines as he traverses the beaches and plays a spot of basketball. The final instalment titled, A New York Love Story, captures the young couple Kiki and Jonas as they embrace on the streets of Queens.
