Come Together
Forget John Lewis’ CGI animals and those luminous Coca Cola trucks, H&M have trumped the lot by recruiting Wes Anderson to create their festive TV advert.
Set on Christmas Eve and starring Anderson-favourite Adrien Brody as Ralph the conductor of H&M Lines Winter Express train, the short film titled Come Together sees passengers being delayed by snowy conditions before the strangers conspire to create a festive surprise.
“This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug,” says actor Adrien Brody. With precision symmetry, smooth camera pans, whimsical costume and kitch props, the video sees Anderson brilliantly lending his iconic visual palette to the small screen.
