The first trailer for Gore Verbinski’s (The Ring, Rango) new film The Cure For Wellness has been released, and it’s a typically creepy watch.

Starring HERO 10 cover star Dane DeHaan alongside Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs, the psychology thriller centres around DeHaan’s character: “an ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem.”

In the trailer we are taken to this ominous wellness centre, offering sessions in sensory deprivation tanks, iron lungs, synchronised swimming and strange cult-like ceremonies – it’s a long way from our idea of an idyllic relaxing weekend, that’s for sure. There, DeHaan’s protagonist “finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.” With Verbinski reuniting with The Ring cinematographer Bojan Bazelli, this new film promises to be a must-see goosebump-inducing watch.

The Cure For Wellness opens in US cinemas on 17th February 2017
