Carlo Rivetti’s Stone Island opens its inaugural New York flagship store. Located in a grand SoHo building dating back to 1910, the new space boasts a whopping 3,500 sq. foot that has “undergone significant architectural renovation to create an archetypal Stone Island environment,” reads the press release.
This major ribbon cutting marks the brand’s 21th flagship store and will showcase their Stone Island and Stone Island Shadow Project collections alongside exclusive special and exclusive products and installations in its dedicated Hub presentation space.
The New York flagship store was developed in partnership with industrial designer and founder of architecture studio Zeichenweg, Marc Buhre. The location incorporates the classic SoHo high ceiling infrastructure with Stone Island’s customary fixtures and fittings constructed from carbon fibre, fibreglass and coloured glass walls.
Go for the clothes, stay for the architecture – forget the Empire State building, here’s a real must-visit NY attraction.
