Gucci team up with Dover Street Market for an exclusive capsule collection
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 8 June 2016

Back in April, Dover Street Market announced that they were to stock a new book collaboration between acclaimed lenser Ari Marcopoulos and Gucci. Titled Epiphany, the release saw the the NYC-based photographer shoot the Florentine fashion house’s Pre-Fall 16 collection.

Now comes a limited-edition capsule collection that continues that Gucci X DSM partnership. Designed by man-of-the-moment Alessandro Michele, this latest drop is themed around the Gucci Garden aesthetic – cast your mind back to that leafy Gucci campaign imagery.

Consisting of four pieces exclusively for Dover Street Market: a cotton crew neck with a tree design on the back and lettering on the front, check pyjama trousers, a check flannel overshirt with a rabbit patch on the back and a killer denim jacket with a patch, intarsia and studs (we’ll take two please), each piece comes stamped with a red interpretation of that iconic Gucci label.

With two of fashion’s big guns coming together like this, the results are guaranteed to fly off shelves in record timing. So set those alarms and sharpen those elbows.
