Paco Rabanne’s Artistic Director, Julien Dossena, is the jury’s guest of honour at this year’s International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères. Beginning this Thursday until April 25th, the 31st edition of the event will aid a handful of young minds with the potential to innovate and push forward their chosen crafts.
Artists from fashion and photography will have the opportunity to win several prizes (provided by the likes of CHANEL, LVMH, Mercedes-Benz and the renowned French Federation of Fashion and of Ready-to-Wear Couturiers and Fashion Designers).
Dossena has given new life to Paco Rabanne since his appointment in 2013, translating the house’s strong heritage into a sleek, contemporary vision. Before lending his sharp perspectives and sprightly creative sight to the sleeping Parisian icon, Dossena was at Balenciaga working alongside Nicolas Ghesquière.
